Evadare din cotidian si din oras, dar nu stim pe unde???

Va puteti relaxa prin partea de vest a muntilor ZARAND aproape de orasul ARAD, prin vechile si noile podgorii, incepand din localitatea PAULIS si pana in localitatea GHIOROC, pe un traseu turistic care se poate face tot timpul anului. Durata parcurgeri acestui traseu este in functie de conditia fizica si experienta de munte a fiecaruia, putand fi parcurs in 4-5 ore, pe o distanta de aprox. 12 km. Un detaliu important pentru cei care doresc sa parcurga acest traseu, este lipsa unui izvor, de aceea ar fi bine sa va aprovizionati cu necesarul de apa.

Cateva repere:

> Din statia CFR PAULIS urmand vechiul traseu turistic – marcaj triunghi albastru, o luam la dreapta pe soseaua care duce spre orasul DEVA, dar o vom parasi cotind la stanga pe prima vale si urmand un drumul forestier. Continuare traseului si “intrarea” in traseu se face dupa aprox. 200 m de la sosea, intr-o usoara curba catre dreapta, deoarece traseul continua la stanga si astfel o sa ajungem intr-un punct de “belvedere” situat deasupra vechi stati de vinificatie BARATCA si a soselei nationale.      

> Traseul continua urcand usor si placut catre dreapta, trecand printr-o podgorie parasita pana la o cladire parasita din beton, de unde o luam la stanga si ajungem in locul numit “LA TREI PINI”. Mergem mai departe ocolim prin stanga varful DEALU BRADULUI de 364 m, pana ajungem sa ne intersectam cu un drum ce apare din stanga – noul traseu turistic, care coboara/urca spre/dinspre localitatea PAULIS, dar o sa continuam traseul spre dreapta si in sus.

> Continua traseul la stanga printr-o noua podgorie si apoi intram in padure la o intersectie de drumuri, mergand tot inainte. La o bifurcatie facem la stanga si continuam traseul prin padure iar dupa ce trecem de varful DEALU HOTARULUI de 369m, la o intersectie de drumuri vom fi tentati sa o luam catre stanga – coborare spre localitatea MINIS, dar continuam traseul prin partea dreapta. Aproape de finalul traseului prin padure o sa ajungem la locul unui popas amenajat cu o masa si doua bancute. Daca nu suntem prea obositi si avem timp la dispozitie, putem sa mergem catre varful CAPRA de 468m, luand-o pe poteca din stanga.

> Continuam acest traseu luand-o la stanga si urmeaza in scurt timp ca la orice final de traseu, coborarea spre “civilizatie”. Pe aceasta coborare catre localitatea GHIOROC, ne putem opri la o cruce din lemn, ce vegheaza peste CAMPIA ARADULUI.

> Venind dinspre dreapta, o sa facem jonctiunea cu traseul CRESTEI PRINCIPALE a MUNTILOR ZARAND care vine dinspre manastirea/schitul FEREDEU de SUS (marcaj banda rosie) si traseul care vine de pe valea CLADOVEI si duce catre localitatea GHIOROC (marcaj banda albastra). Va trebui sa fiti atenti la directia pe care o veti alege ca sa ajungeti in localitate GHIOROC, deoarece sa intalniti un releu de transmisiuni si o bifurcatie de drumuri,  de aceea o sa optati a merge pe drumul din stanga si astfel ajungand in centrul localitati GHIOROC.

Descrierea acestui traseu fiind facuta, va invit sa cunoasteti si sa descoperiti… MUNTII ZARAND.

Escape from everyday and urban, but we do not know where ???

You can relax in the western part of the ZARAND mountains near ARAD city, through the old and new vineyards, starting from PAULIS locality and up to GHIOROC locality, on a touristic route that can be done all year round. The duration of this route depends on the physical condition and the mountain experience of each one, and can be traveled in 4-5 hours, at a distance of approx. 12 km. An important detail for those who want to go through this route is the lack of a spring, so it would be good to have your water supplies.

Some landmarks:

> From CFR PAULIS train-station following the old tourist route – blue triangle mark, we take the right onto the road leading to DEVA city, but we leave it by going to the left on the first valley and following a forest road. Continue the route and enter the route after approx. 200 m from the road, in a slight curve to the right, because the trail continues to the left and thus we will reach a point of „belvedere” located above the old wine-making stations BARATCA and the national road.

> The trail continues to up smoothly and pleasantly to the right, passing through a vineyard left to a concrete abandoned building, from where we take it to the left and get to the place called „TREI PINI – THREE PINS”. We go further to the left of DEALU BRADULUI peak of 364 m, until we reach the intersection with a road that appears to the left – the new tourist route that descends/up to/from PAULIS locality, but we will continue the route to the right and up .

> Continue the left path through a new vineyard and then into the forest at a crossroads, going all the way. At a bifurcation we turn left and continue the path through the forest and after passing the DEALU HOTARULUI peak of 369m, at a road intersection we will be tempted to take it to the left – descending to MINIS locality, but continue the route to the right side. Near the end of the forest trail we will reach the place of a place with a table and two benches. If we are not too tired and have time, we can go to the CAPRA peak of 468m, taking it on the left path.

> We continue this route by taking it to the left and following shortly as at any end of the trail, descending to „civilization”. On this descent to GHIOROC locality, we can stop at a wooden cross that watches over CAMPIA ARADULUI.

> Coming from the right, we will make the junction with the ZARAND MOUNTAIN CRESTING CROSS which comes from the FEREDEU de SUS monastery and the route coming from the CLADOVA valley and leads to GHIOROC locality. You will have to pay attention to the direction you will choose to reach GHIOROC locality, because you will encounter a relay and a bifurcation of roads, so you will choose to go on the left road and thus get to the center of GHIOROC locality.
